James Zivney graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with a Juris Doctor degree after completing undergraduate studies at Oregon State University. He moved to Canada and graduated with a Master’s of Law degree at the prestigious Osgoode Hall Law School.
James began his legal career in Toronto working in the US Immigration teams at some of the Big Four accounting firms where he represented multinational corporations in the processing of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions. He joined the Galileo Partners team to advise and closely support the firm’s clients in their petitions and applications to US Citizenship and Immigration Services, Customs and Border Protection, Department of Labor, and Department of State. He thus assists companies of all sizes and in all sectors with their mobility challenges to the United States.
James is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and currently the Montreal State Department Liaison Officer for the AILA Canada Section.
