Roger is an experienced attorney with more than 18 years of experience practicing immigration and nationality law.
For over 15 years, he provided a suite of US business immigration services to multinational corporate clients and international-, national- and college-level athletes and coaches through practical business approaches in order to meet government statutory and regulatory compliance requirements. He also built his experience counselling clients and assisting them in obtaining relevant status documents and non-immigrant visas, permanent residence and citizenship, as well as filing submissions at US consulates around the world, and with the Department of Homeland Security and its sub-agencies including Citizenship and Immigration Services and Customs and Border Protection, Social Security Administration, and Department of Labor.
Roger provided advisory services covering issues from best practice to immigration support for due diligence in corporate restructuring, represented clients in bond, asylum and removal hearings before immigration courts and federal appellate courts. He also trained, supervised and mentored junior attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff, including for authoring and rolling-out US immigration template letters, emails and legal memoranda. He coached senior executives, senior managers, and human resources and recruitment teams in developing, implementing and centralizing internal immigration policy and program to be in compliance with US immigration laws.
Roger also dedicates more than 52 hours per year to pro bono or reduced fee legal services.
