Mathilde Laroche is a business immigration lawyer at Galileo Partners in Montreal. A member of the Barreau du Québec since 2024; she advises Canadian and international employers on all aspects of immigration to Canada and Quebec; including work permits; Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs) and Quebec temporary and permanent immigration programs. Her practice also covers U.S. immigration matters; having developed experience in preparing American immigration files under the supervision of the firm’s U.S. lawyers. Methodical and thorough; she is actively involved in the firm’s business immigration mandates on behalf of employers across various sectors of the economy.
A graduate of Université de Sherbrooke Faculty of Law (LL.B.; 2022) and admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2024; Mathilde Laroche joined Galileo Partners during her legal studies; allowing her to build solid hands-on experience in business immigration from the very start of her career. She initially contributed to the processing of U.S. immigration applications for the firm’s clients; before expanding her practice to Canadian and Quebec immigration proceedings.
Throughout her time at Galileo; Mathilde has developed a strong sense of organization and a growing command of the foundational principles of immigration law; across both federal programs and Quebec-specific selection streams administered by the Ministère de l’Immigration; de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI). Her rigour; dedication and ability to quickly apply the relevant rules to complex situations make her a valuable resource for Galileo Partners’ clients.
